Linear Elegance - Golden Beach Residence
Set along the canals of Golden Beach, Florida, this exceptional waterfront residence designed by STRANG brings together contemporary architecture, natural textures, and carefully executed exterior details. Throughout the property, warm wood-inspired surfaces are integrated into the architecture to create contrast against the light stone, white façades, expansive glass, tropical landscaping, and surrounding water.
Urbanik Surfaces contributed to the project with the supply and installation of multiple architectural profiles finished in Raito Ipe, creating a consistent visual language across several areas of the residence.

The different profiles were selected according to the architectural application, allowing the material to transition naturally between ceilings, soffits, exterior walls, vertical features, and other custom architectural elements.
Precision Installation
Installation played an essential role in achieving the clean, continuous appearance of the finished project. Each area required careful planning to maintain consistent spacing, alignment, and transitions while adapting the profiles to the dimensions and geometry of the residence.
Across the exterior ceilings and covered outdoor areas, the profiles were installed to emphasize the long architectural lines of the home. Precise positioning helps create a uniform rhythm overhead while allowing lighting, fans, cameras, and other architectural components to be integrated cleanly into the finished surfaces.
Vertical applications introduce another layer of dimension to the property. Individual profiles were carefully aligned to create evenly spaced architectural screens and feature walls, adding depth and visual interest while maintaining the minimalist character of the design.
The installation also required detailed coordination around corners, structural elements, openings, and transitions between materials. These details are especially important in a residence where the wood-look surfaces interact directly with stone, stucco, glass, metal railings, landscaping, and exterior living spaces.
At the garage façade, the horizontal application creates a large continuous surface that visually connects with the other Raito Ipe elements throughout the residence. This repetition of material helps establish a cohesive architectural identity from the street-facing elevation through the private waterfront areas.
A Consistent Material Language
From the entrance and exterior elevations to the terraces and waterfront entertaining spaces, the Raito Ipe finish introduces warmth without compromising the contemporary aesthetic of the home.
The combination of horizontal and vertical profiles allows the same finish to take on different architectural expressions throughout the property. In some areas, it becomes a bold feature; in others, it serves as a subtle ceiling or soffit treatment that frames the surrounding landscape and views.
